To Be is soon to be on time

!±8± To Be is soon to be on time

Are in school over the past 29 years. During this period I had the opportunity to travel a lot with my choirs and bands. To prepare the students on these trips I had to learn them my "mantra" in relation to time (I do not know where I herhabe, but I use professionally and personally for over 30 years).

"Being is soon to be punctual, to be on time is late, and too late to be in trouble." For those of my students that the "end", followedTime, they quickly realized that run late into the night to solve their problems. I've also "on the left: go to my fair share of companions in the hotel is not ready to sound harsh but it teaches us lessons perhaps --- that can be moved into the arena show.?.

As a presenter is soon to make a presentation in a scenario "win-win" for both you as the moderator and audience. The following is a list and explanation of the advantages of being early to make a presentation.

BenefitsModerator:

- You can customize the layout of the room --- sometimes the chair / table-layout of the room can not be what you wish for

- You have the opportunity to review the lighting in the room --- The lounge can not at the "specs" that have been sent to you. Instead, adjustable lighting, fluorescent lights can have the room alone.

- The "Goodies" The public should not exist --- Your audience will always appreciate the water on the back of the room. You may also wantmaking candy mint or a type.

- Set the temperature. It will take time to adjust to room temperature. You do not want a room where you can hang meat or the feeling that you just received in a tanning bed.

- Focus on technology. If something can go wrong, is technology. Run is the presentation, the audience can see, the screen goes to work the projector, the microphone is enough or too much for the room. This is the time when you try all the elements.Run the slide show using technology to identify potential problems

Benefits to Audience:

- The public will have a better chance of a successful presentation. Public Advocacy contains important concepts ... Design / The interview in the way you enjoy participating as a spectator. "Prior preparation prevents poor performance". Make every successful presentation for the presenter and the audience.

- You will be able to "bond" with yourPublic as they enter the room. "Knowing the public", and this interaction will contribute to a positive relationship between the presenter and the audience.

Throw in a moment "personal" to learn early to make a presentation on the spot as a presenter ... I recently presented to the (Association of Superintendents and Curriculum Developers) ASCD Convention in Anaheim, CA. Before the meeting, we have been sending requests for equipment in the room. Due to changes in airlineCarry-ons, I decided on a projector to the conference website (first mistake) for rent. When I entered the room, there was no LCD projector, but an overhead projector instead. With the early arrival, I had to find an hour and a half on a LCD projector and that of the room. From that point I went into normal mode preparation. Moral of the story --- if I had not come early, the presentation would be delivered, but without the PowerPoint support materials. To this end, I firmly believe thatlive the mantra ...

"Being is soon to be punctual, to be on time is late, and too late to be in trouble." I suggest you integrate them into your "presentation style of life" as well.
